Valve Manifold

Gene-tech Controls offers a series of compact manifolds for use in static and differential pressure instruments.

Valve Manifold offer users several advantages, firstly, they combine instrument isolation, calibration, equalizing, drain and test function in a single block result in cost savings. Secondly their compact design also reduces space requirements for operation and installation. Thirdly, the internal porting arrangement within the manifold also eliminates leakage points.

Manifolds are available in 2, 3 & 5 Valve construction.

  • 2-Valve Manifold are used in pressure instruments such as pressure gauges, pressure transmitters and pressure switches, etc.
  • 3-Valve and 5-Valve Manifold are used in differential pressure instruments such as differential pressure transmitters, differential pressure switches, differential pressure gauges, etc. 3-Valve Manifold are the most commonly used manifolds. They could be provided with test ports on the process side and drain ports on the instrument side for draining of the process and instrument lines respectively.
  • 5-Valve Manifold is normally used with differential pressure instruments where drain valves are required on the instrument side. They are also used for flushing of the system and for prevention of loss of expensive fluid in the impulses.

Valve Manifolds are available in different type of Mounting Installations.

  • Separately Mounted Manifolds :- Meant for installation from the instrument and are usually connected by means of pipes and pipe fittings, tube and tube fittings.
  • Direct Mounting 'T' Type Manifolds :- Designed for direct mounting on the instrument and with screwed process connections.
  • Direct Mounting 'H' Type Manifolds :- Meant for stacked assembly between the instrument and the flange process connection.
  • Co-planar Manifolds :- Designed for direct mounting onto the instrument, eliminating the adapter plate.
